one. Whether we are working on a design for your windows
or coordinating color palettes, furniture and
accessories, we follow the same process to ensure our
client’s complete satisfaction.
TELEPHONE INTERVIEW:
Before your initial consultation, We will spend time
talking with you on the phone. Through this interview,
we can get a feel for your style, current or desired
interior color palette, functional needs, etc. This way
she can bring the most appropriate samples of fabric,
trim and hardware to your home.
IN-HOME CONSULTATION:
The design process continues with an in-home
consultation. This saves you time and allows you to view
fabric samples in the rooms where they will be used. We
will help you find the perfect fabric and accoutrements
to coordinate with your home’s décor. While at your
home, we will obtain detailed window measurements to
ensure your custom design will be a perfect fit for your
windows.
FABRIC & HARDWARE SELECTION:
After returning to the design studio, we will gather
the fabrics, trims and hardware that she feels are the
best fit for your style and
functional needs.
CUSTOM RENDERINGS:
At Window Works Studio, we utilize professional design
software to illustrate our custom designs for your
windows. With this software, we can create renderings
that show the actual fabric you have selected! These
renderings will be sent to you via email so that you can
review them at your convenience. This is a great tool
for seeing exactly how your treatment will look in your
room. Clients often comment on how the finished
treatments look even better than they imagined!
DESIGN REVIEW & CRAFTING:
Depending on the complexity of the project, we may
visit your home again to review design details and
product selection. Once the designs are selected, we
will begin the process of crafting your window coverings
using the couture techniques learned through years of
study and experience. In most cases, you will have your
new window coverings in your home in 4 to 8 weeks. Like
fine wine, crafting of a quality product takes time!
INSTALLATION:
At the completion of your project, we
will schedule a custom fitting. If everything is
perfect, we will install your window coverings that day.
Any minor adjustments can often be made on site.
Otherwise, we will return to the design studio to
address the finishing touches and then schedule the
final installation.
